FAQ

Questions, answered.

More on fees
How does my business accept payments with DDPay?

Register your business in the DDPay app, then create a charge: set the amount and show the QR code, or share the payment link. Your customer pays from their DDPay wallet, and the sale shows up in your daily totals.

What do I need to register my business?

Your business’s legal name and RUC (or EIN for a US business). The DDPay team then verifies your business. You can register more than one business from the same account.

How fast are transfers on DDPay?

DDPay settles most transfers in seconds to minutes using Solana network rails — much faster than a typical multi-day bank wire. Actual delivery time can vary depending on your funding method and cash-out destination.

What are ANDINA and INCACOIN?

ANDINA and INCACOIN are DDPay's branded, USD- and PEN-referenced wallet balances, backed by reserves held through our custody and liquidity partners. They are not separately issued tokens.

Which countries does DDPay support today?

DDPay currently supports transfers between the United States and Peru. We plan to expand to additional Latin American markets over time.

Is DDPay a bank? How is my money kept safe?

DDPay is not a bank, and balances are not FDIC insured. Wallets are held through our custody partner, Crossmint, and DDPay does not directly hold your private keys. We also offer an optional non-custodial wallet-linking feature for users who want to connect their own self-custodied wallet.

What fees does DDPay charge?

DDPay charges a flat fee on cash-outs and external sends, plus a disclosed exchange-rate spread when converting between currencies. Sending, receiving, and paying by QR are free. See our Pricing page for the full breakdown.

Does DDPay pay interest or yield on my balance?

No. DDPay does not offer yield or interest on any balance today.
